On May 21st, the California Women’s Law Center held our sold out 2024 Pursuit of Justice Awards dinner where we proudly recognized Christen Press, Tobin Heath, and the Angel City Football Club for their leadership and fearless advocacy for equal pay, gender equity and athletic opportunity.
In addition to our amazing honorees, we were joined by Catherine Davila who accepted our Pursuit of Justice Award on behalf of the Angel City FC and Erin Bromaghim, the Deputy Mayor of International Affairs for Mayor Karen Bass, who introduced our honorees. As always, much appreciation goes out to Robyn Ritter Simon for doing an outstanding job as our Mistress of Ceremonies.
CWLC thanks our inspiring awardees and agents for change for their accomplishments to date as well as for their commitment to further empower and elevate women and girls in their endeavors. We remain grateful for our supporters and allies whose assistance allows CWLC to advance our efforts pursuing justice and building a more equitable future for all.
