The California Women’s Law Center is proud to announce the updated 2022 release of our comprehensive legal guide, A Guide to Federal and California Sex-Based Discrimination, Harassment, and Assault Laws (2022). This Guide identifies and outlines various claims that can be brought for sexual discrimination, harassment, and assault under federal and California state law. Designated for use by both attorneys and non-attorneys, the Guide allows readers to review and compare the elements required to establish each type of claim and contains a variety of illustrative case law examples.

As it has for over 30 years, CWLC stands with victims of gender-based discrimination, sexual harassment, and sexual assault. CWLC recognizes that navigating the complex legal environment surrounding these types of claims can be difficult. We hope the Guide will be helpful to survivors and their advocates in determining the legal course that works best for them.
