As part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, we invite you to tune in tomorrow, Sept. 28th, at 5:30pm to hear CWLC Executive Director Betsy Butler discuss violence against women on The Deciders with Renee Fraser on KABC 790 AM.

As you’ll hear, CWLC is teaming up with Handbags of Hope to collect new and gently used handbags filled with personal care items, like toothbrushes, shampoo, deodorant, lotion, hairbrushes, feminine hygiene products, and a $15 gift card for Target or Walgreens. The handbags will then be distributed to women’s shelters throughout Los Angeles.

We encourage each of you to consider donating a handbag and/or toiletries. 

Please bring your donations to CWLC’s El Segundo office by 5:00pm on Friday, Oct. 11th, or drop them off at the LASD Youth Athletic League, 11911 S. Vermont Ave., on October 12th between 11am-2pm. For more information, please contact us at cwlc@cwlc.org.
