CWLC and the Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles (LAFLA) hosted a town hall meeting with the Director of the California Department of Fair Employment and Housing (DFEH) and Gregory Mann, DFEH’s Senior Staff Counsel.  The discussion centered on recent developments at the Department of Fair Employment and Housing and how legal advocates could most effectively work with DFEH to improve services

Director Cheng shared a PowerPoint presentation outlining recent changes at DFEH.  The presentation can be downloaded here.

Following her presentation, Director Cheng and Senior Staff Counsel Mann took questions from the audience addressing these recent changes and how legal advocates can more effectively interact with the department and advocate for their clients.
